Special Projects Coordinator

Shari is the Special Projects Coordinator at IHMC Pensacola. She moved to Pensacola with her husband who is currently serving in the US Navy. Starting a career in the medical field of Respiratory Therapy, she gained valuable experience in critical care for adult and pediatric patients. As a Navy spouse, she quickly realized that following a Navy man all over the world was going to bring many exciting and challenging adventures. Finding employment as a Respiratory Therapist at overseas locations was one of those challenges, but this challenge allowed Shari the opportunity to realize her passion for helping people by volunteering with several non-profit organizations that focused on the military family. She then broadened her skill set by working for the federal government at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland until the move to Pensacola. Shari earned her Associate Degree from University of Toledo and her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from The University of Phoenix.

Shari enjoys exploring the rich history of Pensacola and the Gulf Coast and traveling with her husband and two children.
