Frankelly joined IHMC in May 2023 as a summer intern working with Dr. Anil Raj and the augmentics team. He is a student at the College of Central Florida, where he is pursuing a degree in computer science.

As president of the STEM Club, he served as team leader for a team of four students competing in the national CCIC Innovation Challenge in Washington, D.C.
