Research Associate
Ed is a research associate working in the area of human resilience and performance in extreme environments.
He joined IHMC in 2021 while completing his master’s degree in exercise physiology at the University of West Florida and representing the Argos as a midfielder for the UWF soccer team.
Since joining IHMC, he has been involved in several projects such as: Evaluating the Benefits of Intranasal Oxytocin Administration of Human Performance and Metabolism Under Extreme Conditions, and Ketone Esters for Optimization of Operator Performance in Hypoxia.
Ed is also a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). When he isn’t working, he enjoys golf, soccer, and jiu jitsu.
