Raffaele Galliera is working with Dr. Niranjan Suri to earn a Ph.D. in Intelligent Systems and Robotics through the joint UWF-IHMC program. His 2023 research internship is also with Dr. Suri.

He holds degrees in computer science and electronics engineering from the University of Ferrara, and a master’s in computer science from the University of West Florida. While he is interested in machine learning and artificial intelligence all around, he is focusing his studies on reinforcement learning applied to networking and communication protocols aiming to jump on multi-agent reinforcement learning settings.

His hobbies include traveling, snowboarding, going to the beach, playing basketball, and Dungeons and Dragons.
