Robotics Lab Research Coordinator

The Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC) is a not-for-profit research institute of the Florida University System known for pioneering technologies aimed at leveraging and extending human capabilities. Our team is dedicated to advancing human-centered computing, robotics, and other cutting-edge fields. We are seeking a coordinator to be the primary administrative support for the robotics lab and will assist with event coordination, as well as other administrative related duties. This position will interface with internal and external team members, research scientists, and administrative personnel to assist with the overall administrative operation of the robotics lab.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the monitoring, tracking, completion, and delivery of robotics project deliverables and reporting requirements.
  • Facilitating the tracking of robotics project inventory.
  • Creation and management of robotics invoices, purchase orders, etc.
  • Development of job listings, tracking and screening applications, and overseeing the interview process.
  • Tracking and delivering on grant/program reporting.
  • Coordination and facilitation of educational outreach programs.
  • Developing and implementing new processes as required.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating with multiple programs, projects, and teams.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google suite, Adobe, Atlassian Tools, Slack, etc.).
  • Strong experience in programmatic coordination to include:
    • Scheduling
    • Reporting
    • Deliverable tracking
    • Inventory management
    • Event coordination

Availability:             Nights and weekend hours on occasion, as needed
