Paper Airplanes in Flight by Mr. Ian Perera, Research Associate at IHMC
February 6, 2016
Mr. Ian Perera, Research Associate at IHMC in Ocala, presented ‘Paper Airplanes in Flight’ for February Science Saturday. Students learned basic principles about the physics of flight. They folded three different paper airplane designs, and launched their planes to see how each of the designs influenced flight. Volunteers from Vanguard, Forest, and West Port High Schools assisted. This Science Saturday season was generously sponsored by Lockheed Martin and by Ron and Phyllis Ewers.
