Reaction Time by Dr. Manal Fakhoury, Clinical Pharmacologist

February Science Saturday was about “Reaction Time”, presented by Dr. Manal Fakhoury. Students learned about factors that affect their reaction time. Working in pairs, they performed experiments to measure each group member’s reaction under different circumstances (with distraction, with motivation, with alerts, etc.) They collected data and calculated results. Thank you, Manal for five years of commitment to IHMC’s hands-on science events for Marion County youth! Volunteers from Vanguard, Westport and Forest High Schools assisted.
