Roller Coasters by Dr. Micah Clark, IHMC

The final Science Saturday for this school year was about Roller Coasters, presented by Micah Clark, Research Scientist at IHMC. Students learned about potential and kinetic energy and how these concepts are related to roller coaster physics. Students designed their own roller coasters, and measured and recorded performance data related to their designs. Big thanks are due to the Spring 2018 season sponsors, Cox (premier sponsor), Ron and Phyllis Ewers, and Lockheed Martin, and also to the high school student volunteers who helped to make hands-on science fun.
